About CHRIS
My Personal Story
My journey to fitness began essentially from the time I was a child. I grew up playing baseball and running track. Sports was a natural way to express myself, excel and compete.
Unfortunately, that lifestyle created injuries from strain and overworking my body. These injuries kept me from doing the things I loved. I understand how frustrating it can be when injury slows us down.
That motivation--to get back into action, living my life--was my driver to study the body's healing capabilities, learn the physiology of recovery, and practice the strength- and flow-building processes of functional fitness.
When I tore my achilles, it required sitting still two months. This was nearly unbearable. At that point I dug deep and utilized what worked for my own recovery. I discovered the blend of technology and technique that expedited my recovery, and helped me rebound quickly from surgery.
My passion is in sharing this knowledge and experience with my clients. Watching the improvements that are made from our sessions is inspiring, as they are able to regain flexibility, mobility and joy by getting back into the things they love doing.
In the end, I get a lot of personal fulfillment being of service to people. Helping others reach their potential, and just plain feel better is more than a job. It's a calling.
I can't imagine doing anything else!
